J.T. Borah

JT Borah has been practicing law since 1996. Throughout his legal career, JT has represented real people.  He has never been an attorney for the government or corporations, both of which take advantage of real people.  JT has made it the goal of his career to protect his clients from bullies regardless of whether they are police officers, state prosecutors, federal prosecutors, judges, nursing home owners, insurance companies, or Fortune 500 companies.  Since 2011, JT has focused his practice exclusively on representing real people who have been injured due to the negligence of some other person.

JT is a very active member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association (“TTLA”) in lobbying the Texas Legislature, reviewing proposed legislation that could impact his clients, and in speaking at TTLA events.  JT’s speaking engagements have not only been to attorneys in Texas, but also to attorneys outside of Texas.  He has made presentations to attorneys who practice in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wyoming.

In his free time, JT enjoys watching all kinds of sports, especially Longhorn football and his beloved Philadelphia Phillies.  However, his absolute favorite thing to do is to spend time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
