Position Duties: Successful personal injury law firm in Austin, Texas seeks an enthusiastic, experienced paralegal/legal assistant. Must speak Spanish and have at least three years experience in personal injury representing plaintiffs. Position is a salaried leadership position responsible for all aspects of case management and preparation from client intake through trial support. We are looking for applicants that are very detail oriented, goal-driven and able to work well in a team environment. Pay commensurate with experience, but will be a minimum of $35K/annually, plus benefits.

Position Duties: Continuous follow up with medical providers regarding current cases in demand status to quickly gather supplementing medical information for incomplete demands. File management encompassing keeping medical folder organized and filing medical bills and records on a daily basis.

Position Duties: Continuous follow up with medical providers regarding current cases in demand status to quickly gather supplementing medical information for incomplete demands. File management encompassing keeping medical folder organized and filing medical bills and records on a daily basis.

  • Interact with clients to effectively gather medical provider information to update case management system.
  • Collaborate with legal assistants and paralegals in a team environment and ensure all policies and procedures are followed and completed.
  • Quickly and efficient request and obtain proper medical bills and records from various medical providers with continuous follow up.
  • Quickly and efficiently prepare auto Liability, Uninsured (UM), Underinsured (UIM), and Personal Injury Protection (PIP)/ Medical Payment (Med Pay) demands upon request from assigned attorney and/or assigned paralegal.
  • Relay client complaints, issues, requests, and demands to assigned paralegal in a timely manner and input any notes into the case management system.
  • Provide close attention to all clients and medical providers both in person and over the phone.
